As if the grocery stores werent already bad enough...

Here comes the tariffs on imported goods. The issue isnt up for debate, thats not my job. Although, my job is to educate, so today I'm going to a deep dive into the product that I have to import... Organic Avocado Oil.

Brass Tacks

First and foremost I chose avocado oil because my daughter and a lot of my clients have food allergies to nuts, seeds, cow dairy, and goat milk products. Avocado allergy is rare, so we chose avocado oil as the base in our salves, butters, and creams.

Another reason why its great.

Avocado oil's emollient properties make it an ideal choice for providing deep hydration and nourishment to the skin. Its abundant in vitamin E, which also serves as a natural preservative in our products. 

Transparency Matters.

 The organic avocado oil I am purchasing, has doubled in price. I refuse to change oils and confuse clients and customers. And, I refuse to use potential poisons such as seed oils, or in-organic oil as the base in our creams, salves, or butters. 

What does this mean?

This means that there will be a slight price increase to the magnesium product. The original price of an 8 ounce magnesium jar was $45.00, now it is $50.00. The 2 ounce container was $20.00, now it is $25.00. 

Some brands are cheaper online.

We do things a bit different here at Sacred Infusions Apothecary, and magnesium is no exception. Our herbalist uses three different types of magnesium in our magnesium cream, other brands use only one, (and heres a secret, its not even the one that helps with sleep.)

The customers who have been with us for years know how much different our magnesium cream is compared to others. Sure, there is cheaper magnesium cream online, but it isnt made like ours. Theirs only contains one type of magnesium (which doesnt help with sleep), so is it actually cheaper, or is it a product that really doesnt even work? Our magnesium is made with organic avocado oil, three forms of magnesium glycinate, magnesium citrate, and magnesium sulfate,  scented with therapeutic grade essential oils from Edens Garden, and then stored in glass.
