Orange (Citrus × sinensis) and lemon (cirtus limon)

biophotons

Our herbalist formulated our Fire Cider at Sacred Infusions with both sunshine fruits.

Lemons are known for their vitamin c content, but our herbalist added lemon in our recipe, because they actually contain more fiber, and more fat than an orange (more macro please). Lemons have higher vitamin B6, iron, and phosphorus content than an orange.

While the orange contains more micro nutrients such as vitamins A, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, and B9, along with, magnesium, copper, calcium, potassium, and zinc. All which have shown to benefit the human immune system. Research shows when we are deficient in basic nutrients, we begin to not feel well.

Honey

"just like honey baby from the bee"

Raw, local, organic and unfiltered honey is used in our Fire Cider to "take the edge off" the heat of the capsaicin. Honey may have anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory like effects.

We sure do owe a lot to those adorable honey bees. Did you know that honey bees have a very sophisticated memory and brain function for being so tiny? Not only that but, their dedication to their craft, and loyalty to their queen is unmatched.

It takes twelve worker bees to make one teaspoon of honey. With bees having a life expectancy of six to eight weeks.

The 1/2 teaspoon of honey in six weeks is worth admiration, considering the very short lifespan of the bees.
