Ingredients

Sunflower oil infused with plantain, comfrey, & calendula. Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay, Beeswax, Tea Tree Essential Oil.

Suggested Dosage

AFTER CUT: Clean affected area with saline solution, dry, apply drawing salve evenly, cover with gauze. This product will stain clothing, make sure to cover after applying drawing salve.

EMBEDEDDED SPLINTER OR GLASS: Follow directions above. Depending on depth and location of splinter or glass, it may require 2-3 applications before splinter or glass is released.

TICK REMOVAL DIRECTIONS: Remove tick before applying. Clean area with saline. Generously apply to the area and cover with gauze. Be sure to cover after applying drawing salve. This salve will stain clothing, linens, and furniture. This salve may draw out any possible impurities left behind.


Contraindications & Safety.

Keep out of reach of children and away from mucus membranes. Contains essential oils, therefore will make mucus membranes burn.

Sunflower oil.

Quick Benefits:

  • Excellent Emollient: It's rich in Linoleic Acid (an Omega-6 fatty acid), which helps the skin maintain its natural moisture barrier and prevents dehydration.
  • Rich in Vitamin E: As a powerful antioxidant, Vitamin E helps protect the skin from environmental stressors and supports overall skin health.
  • Non-Comedogenic: It's a lightweight oil that is highly absorbent and generally won't clog pores, making it suitable for most skin types, including acne-prone skin.
  • Soothing: It has anti-inflammatory qualities that can help calm dry, sensitive, or irritated skin. Perfect for those seasonal transitions that dry out the skin during autumn and winter transitions.

Comfrey.

Allantoin is an active constituent of comfrey. This constituent is highly prized and often used in skin care products to soothe irritation and protect minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

According to this scientific study, "Allantoin has also been shown to have multiple properties/effects expected to facilitate transition of a wound from an inflammatory to a proliferative state, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, direct antimicrobial effects, and keratolytic activity facilitating wound healing."

Calendula.

A well-known versatile herb in western herbal medicine. These bright orange flowers are not only beautiful to look at, but they are also an excellent remedy for red and inflamed skin. Abundant in healing properties, to name a few-- antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial. The resins in this herb are also anti-fungal. The herb astringes the capillaries, an action that explains its effectiveness for cuts and wounds.

Plantain.

In Europe, this plant was called “the bandaid plant,” because it was used to treat wounds and bruises. Applied over wounds, it can quickly stop bleeding and encourages the repair of damaged tissue. One of the many constituents this herb contains is apigenin, which explains its anti-inflammatory properties.

It grows abundantly here in East Tennessee, usually popping up like a weed; that most try and get rid of.

Activated Charcoal.

Activated charcoal has been used for centuries to remove
ingested toxic substances from the body, but did you know activated
charcoal can draw out impurities from skin.

Activated charcoal works synergistically absorb what bentonite clay draws out. Synergistically
working together to draw out microparticles such as dust, dander, bacteria, and
chemicals.

Bentonite Clay.

A volcanic ash mixture made up of magnesium, silica, and
calcium. When bentonite clay comes in contact with a toxin, the clay absorbs
it. While leaving behind beneficial minerals for the body.

Bentonite clay has been shown to act as a detoxifying agent. This property is
referred to its poly-cationic nature, which leads to absorption of negative
charge toxins.

Bentonite clay should never be stored in a metal container, as it has been
shown to absorb micro-plastics and micro-metals.

Tea Tree.

Abundant in the active constituent terpinen-4-ol. Research indicates that the bioactive constituents, including terpinen-4-o; inside of tea tree may have anti-fungal, anti-microbial, & &anti-inflammatory properties.
