Pain Salve

 

 

 

✨ **Short version, I intentionally infused pain relieving herbs into organic, unrefined, extra virgin avocado oil. I then added in our luxurious magnesium cream and added essential oils, that I personally use for aches and pains. Want the long version? 🌿 ARNICA– anti-inflammatory, reduces pain, increases circulation.

 

🌿 PLANTAIN– several studies confirmed the healing effect of plantain. Emollient and soothing mucilages that are present create a protective layer on the skin and reduce pain

 

🌿 COMFREY-contains allantonin a substance which has been shown to promotes new skin cell growth. Comfrey also promotes healing of bruises, fractures, and sprains.

 

🌿 CAYENNE– contains capsaicin an important natural painkiller.

 

🌿 MAGNESIUM– If you’ve used our magnesium cream, then you know the benefits of magnesium 🙂

 

🌿 PEPPERMINT– contains compounds that provide a cooling sensation that helps ease tight, tense muscles.

 

🌿 WINTERGREEN– contains methyl salicylate, which is closely related to aspirin and has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

 

🌿 CLOVE– contains the active ingredient eugenol, which is a natural anesthetic. It helps numb and reduce pain. Eugenol also has natural anti-inflammatory properties.

 

🌿 HELICHRYSUM– essential oil contains an anti-inflammatory substance called arzanol, which plays a part in healing wounds.

 

AVOCADO OIL-

 

Avocado oil is a heart-healthy oil, high in oleic acid, which is an unsaturated fat. It contains vitamin E and also helps the body absorb other fat-soluble vitamins. Avocado oil is a good source of monounsaturated fat which has been linked to reducing LDL cholesterol and increasing HDL cholesterol.
