A 20-year-old woman took ivermectin after she discovered she had Loa loa. After other medications failed this woman, they reached for Ivermectin. Known to be a “safe and effective” treatment for River blindness in Africa, no long-term studies have been conducted on Ivermectin. Keep in mind Ivermectin is only 35 years old.
One month later this healthy 20-year-old goes back to the doctor to discover she now has acute hepatocellular necrosis. While she did improve clinically after treatment, can anyone explain why are we promoting this as a wonder drug for all? Clearly it is NOT a wonder drug in the prevention or treatment of covid-19.
We also now have over 160 children around the world with rare forms of liver disease and hepatitis. While those reports say these children were not vaccinated, will the CDC or NIH disclose if these children were given Ivermectin by their parents?
