Dreamy Cake Bites

  • 2 cups King Arthur Flour Gluten Free
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup Organic
  • 1/2 cup Date Syrup Organic
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt I used Real Redmond Salt
  • 3/4 cup Melted Vegan Butter organic non gmo plant based
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice organic freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp dried lavender flowers organic
  • 1 cup Dairy Free Milk I used oat milk in this recipe


  • 1 cup organic powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp softened vegan butter
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried lavender flowers for garnish
  • 1 Lemon Slices for Garnish


  • Preheat oven to 350*
  • In small pot bring the milk to a gentle simmer and steep lavender flowers. Let steep for 15 minutes.
  • After the milk is cooled, gather all wet ingredients in a bowl, combine and set aside.
  • In a seperate bowl gather all dry ingredients. Combined wet into dry.
  • Spray pan with non-stick spray or butter the tins and sprinkle with sugar if you like a "crunch" to your cake bites. Fill 3/4 of the way full
  • Bake in the oven at 350* for 12-18 mins. OVENS VARY! Check to see if they are done at 12 minutes, and continue baking if necessary.
  • While baking combine glaze ingredients in a stand mixer to make the glaze. Beat on medium high until mixed well. Let cake bites cool completely before glazing. Dip in glaze and sprinkle lavender flowers on top. Enjoy
